Like a turtle, we carry our home "on our back" pulling a fifth-wheel trailer in our domestic travels. We have all the comforts of home, but don't have to mow the lawn!

Christchurch earthquake
The earthquake a year ago was centered in Christchurch and a large part of the downtown core was destroyed. We were told there are over 900 structures that must be brought down. The photo is of a smaller church n the outskirts of the epicenter and was being brought down. In the ver center of the core is the Christchurch Cathedral. That church is trying to rebuild, and an architect has designed a temporary (7-10 year life), which they are calling the "Cardboard Cathedral". It will cost about $5 million to do, as compared to the $30+ million it would cost to rebuild from scratch.
