We are safe

We have had contact from several family and friends asking about our location and/or the possibility we have family near Joplin, MO.  We are nowhere near that tragic site, nor do we have immediate family there, but all the prayers and concern expressed are gratefully received.  We are truly thankful that our original summer plans were changed, or there is a strong possibiity we could have been very near there, or near some of the other "tornado alley" forecasted places!  Continue to hold the citizens of Joplin (and the other affected areas) in your hearts and prayers, and if you are looking for a suitable place to donate asstance, may I recommend  www.ELCA.org .  Any donation made through them is 100% utilized for the purpose intended -- not a bit is held out for 'administrative' costs.
