Good Grief! I haven't posted anything because I guess I have just been having too much fun! So here is the synopsis, and then I will come back and elaborate on the happenings between Kansas City and the present!
We left KC and headed up to Lincoln, NE, on to McCaughnehy Lake (also in Nebraska). North to Rapid City, ND for about 10 days, across Montana, the Idaho panhandle, south through Washington State by way of Cheney and the Tri-Cities area, into Hermiston, OR and finally to Eugene.
We had to have some warranty work done on the 5th-wheel, so after a week with friends, we parked it at the dealer's, drove north to Seattle with a stop in Vancouver, WA, and after a short visit with my brother, boarded a cruise ship to Alaska for a week's cruise.
Back to Eugene to get our trailer, but it wasn't going to be ready for another week, caught up with friends, took care of a couple medical issues including the purchase of new eyeglasses for both of us, caught a few Dungeness crab and tried to catch some salmon. Kne hasn't completely given up on the salmon idea, so maybe another day or two for fishing is still in the plan.
